Micah Parsons is the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Month for September, the league announced Thursday.

The Dallas Cowboys defensive end has been on a tear to begin the season, picking up 4 sacks and 15 defensive quarterback pressures in the first 3 games of the season.

The Defensive Player of the Month award is the first for Parsons, but he was named Defensive Rookie of the Month twice his rookie season. Parsons is the 4th Cowboy ever to receive a Defensive Player of the Month Award.
