Micah Shrewsberry shares how Matt Painter has helped him get started at Penn State
Penn State basketball will tip-off this month and the Nittany Lions will have a new head coach roaming the sidelines. Micah Shrewsberry will be in his first season at the helm.
Shrewsberry previously served two stints as an assistant at Purdue under Matt Painter (2011-2013, 2019-2021). At B1G Media Days, Shrewsberry touched on a variety of topics, such as the impact Painter has had on him.
Here’s a sampling of what Shrewsberry had to say:
Shrewsberry also noted he was relieved Penn State only has to face Painter just once this year, and it will be at home:
“I don’t know if it will be a fun experience – it will be an experience. I know I better bring my best because I’ve been with him.” https://t.co/OOrvpAvOwQ
