Miles Sanders rushes for 2nd touchdown, gives Eagles lead over 49ers before half
Miles Sanders, take a bow!
We’re not even into the 3rd quarter yet and former Penn State running back Miles Sanders has found his way to the end zone twice, giving his Philadelphia Eagles a 14-7 lead over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game. Minutes later, the Eagles forced a fumble and scored yet again, making the halftime lead 21-7.
The Eagles are looking to make to back to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2017-18 season and Sanders is definitely doing his part. He’s up to 10 rushes for 39 yards and 2 touchdowns so far, with his latest being a 13-yard scamper for 6.
Check it out below.

Things are looking good for the Eagles, with 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy out with an elbow injury. Backup Josh Johnson has struggled against a violent Eagles front, throwing for just 38 yards, taking 2 sacks and fumbling once in just over 2 quarters.
With his 2 touchdowns, Sanders has become just the 3rd player ever to score 2 touchdowns on the 49ers in the NFC Championship game. Kind of specific, but an interesting stat nonetheless.
Check out his company, too.
