Nick Singleton is heading to Happy Valley with some incredibly high expectations. The 4-star running back wasn’t afraid to share his thoughts, either.

After signing with Penn State during the Early Signing Period, Singleton talked about the goals he has when he gets to State College. He’s looking to bring back some hardware during his time with the program.

“We’re going to win a B1G championship and a national championship,” Singleton said, per Kyle Andrews of Centre Daily Times. “Mark my words.”

Penn State’s last B1G title came in 2016. Though the Nittany Lions have been close multiple times, they haven’t been able to replicate that level of success.

James Franklin is also still looking for his first College Football Playoff appearance. Though Penn State won the conference in 2016, Ohio State wiggled into the 4-team field because of its 1 loss, compared to the Nittany Lions’ 2 defeats.

Singleton heads to Penn State as one of the Top 50 prospects in the 2022 class. He’s also ranked as the No. 4 running back of the cycle, per the 247Sports composite rankings. He’ll look to make an early impact for Franklin’s squad.
