New Year's surprise: Penn State adds heavily-recruited 4-star ATH to 2023 class
With just a few hours left until 2022, very few teams will have a few limited opportunities to be given one more gift in 2021. Penn State was gifted with a big surprise commit from 4-star athlete Neeo Avery, who made his announcement on Twitter on Friday night.
Avery made his commitment in a surprise video where he showed a Penn State shirt with a Kentucky and UMass hit on the table.
According to 247Sports Composite, Avery is rated as the 208th ranked overall player in the 2023 national recruiting class, as well as the 19th rated edge rusher and No. 3 player from the state of Maryland.
