NFL Draft analyst makes the case for Abdul Carter as the top player in 2025 draft
NFL Draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah believes that Abdul Carter is the best player in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The draft analyst made that declaration during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show on Thursday. The men were discussing who the Tennessee Titans should select with the No. 1 pick, and Jeremiah thinks Carter is simply the best player available.
Titans executive Chad Brinker recently mentioned that it would be hard to pass up on a “generational talent,” which led many people to believe Brinker was implying the Titans will take Travis Hunter or Carter.
“For me, Abdul Carter is the best player in the draft,” Jeremiah said. “So, when I heard that, someone who’s going to step in and be a Pro Bowler, that was what I heard.”
Jeremiah acknowledged that the Titans need a quarterback, but after Brinker’s comments, Jeremiah believes the team will take the best player regardless of position.
“To me, Abdul Carter at a premier position, I would argue the 2nd-most important position on the field, to have a guy at that level of a talent, I’d be all in on that,” said Jeremiah.
