Nick Singleton breaks free for 48-yard touchdown to narrow deficit vs. Ole Miss
Nick Singleton made a huge play late in the first half against Ole Miss on Saturday afternoon.
Facing a 20-10 deficit, quarterback Beau Pribula found Singleton wide open along the left sideline. Singleton then made multiple Ole Miss defenders miss en route to the end zone to make it a 20-17 game.

This was the fourth touchdown pass of Pribula’s young career with the Nittany Lions. He threw 3 touchdowns during the regular season, although all of those came in blowout wins over Maryland, Michigan State and Rutgers.
Pribula stepped in for Drew Allar, who was ineffective in the first half against the Rebels. Allar went 5-for-14 for 115 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception in the first half. Allar threw for 75 of those 115 yards on one play, which helped set up Penn State’s first touchdown of the game. Allar took a hard hit on his interception and was replaced by Pribula on the next drive.
With this performance, Singleton is now over 1,000 total yards for the second straight season. He entered the Peach Bowl with 924 total yards on the year — 702 rushing, 222 receiving. This was Singleton’s 23rd touchdown of his Penn State career.
Ole Miss leads Penn State 20-17 at the break.
