Nick Singleton is off to the races!

The star Penn State freshman running back broke off a 87 yard touchdown for his 2nd score of the day against Utah. With his scamper, Penn State now leads Utah 21-14 halfway through 3rd quarter.

Check it out below:

Singleton’s first touchdown of the day came out of the Wing T formation, one that Penn State has used sparingly this season. Nowadays, the Wing T, which uses 3 backs in the backfield, is used primarily by high schools.

Singleton is up to 6 carries for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Utes. The B1G is looking to win its 2nd straight Rose Bowl, with Ohio State beating the Utes in last season’s iteration of the Granddaddy of Them All.

Let’s see if the Nittany Lions can hang on.
