It took nearly the entirety of the first quarter, but we finally have points at the Rose Bowl.

Nick Singleton, Penn State’s talented freshman running back, did the honors for the Nittany Lions. In an old-school stadium, the Nittany Lions lined up in the Wing T with 3 backs in the backfield and 2 tight ends blocking, no receivers. Kaytron Allen and Cole Strange blocked well for Singleton, who scampered into the end zone for 6.

Here it is in all its glory in the year 2023.

Singleton is already up to 33 rushing yards and 1 touchdown on 5 rushing attempts. Penn State leads 7-0 at the end of the 1st quarter.

Long way to go. Will the B1G pull off the win at the Rose Bowl for the 2nd straight season?
