Penn State has an extremely young, talented group in 2018.

The Nittany Lions are young now because many elite upperclassmen left the team last year due to either graduation or pursuing the NFL. Former LB Jason Cabinda was one of those studs who got his chance at the next level.

Cabinda went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, but latched on to the Oakland Raiders’ practice squad. On Tuesday, it was announced that the team out west was signing Cabinda to the active roster:

Cabinda was with Penn State from 2014-17. The 6-foot-1 LB accumulated 279 total tackles over his four years while getting 5.5 sacks and 11 pass deflections.
