Olu Fashanu will be moving on from Penn State and heading into the 2024 NFL Draft, but only after spending the Peach Bowl with his teammates.

After deciding to stick around last season with a chance to go the draft, Fashanu will be with his teammates 1 last game, although it’s unclear whether he’s playing with them or watching the game as a spectator. He played in 29 games for the Nittany Lions from 2020-2023, and he’s participated in bowl practices.

Here’s what Fashanu had to say to the Penn State faithful:

“Nittany Nation, there aren’t enough words to express how impactful the past four years have been. This football program, which was become my family, the Smeal College of Business and this entire Penn State community have taught me so much. … A year ago I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to declare for the NFL Draft,” said Fashanu. “I am forever grateful that I made the decision to come back and compete with my brothers one last time. With that being said, I am proud to announce that I will be declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft. I look forward to spending time with my teammates and coaches for the Peach Bowl.”

Penn State ended the regular season at 10-2 and faces Ole Miss in the Peach Bowl. Fans can see Fashanu suit up 1 last time for the Nittany Lions on Dec. 30 at noon ET on ESPN.
