Penn State has added two more names to its 2020 recruiting class.

On Tuesday, the Nittany Lions received commitments from two three- star athletes, wide receiver Parker Washington and cornerback Joseph Johnson. Those additions bring Penn State’s class up to 18 members.

Both players made their official announcement on Twitter. Washington shared a video while Johnson posted a statement. Below are both posts:

Johnson is a three-star cornerback out of Colonial Heights, Virginia, and he’s ranked as one of the top 10 players from his home state. Overall, he comes in at No. 366 overall and is the 33rd-best cornerback in the class.

Washington is listed just outside the top 400 players in the 2020 class, ranked at No. 410 according to 247Sports Composite rankings. A native of Richmond, Texas, the receiver is ranked as the No. 70 receiver and falls inside the top 60 athletes in the state.

As Penn State’s 2020 class increases to 18 players, James Franklin has this cycle ranked at No. 10 nationally and third in the B1G. The Nittany Lions now have three receivers and two defensive backs committed in the class.
