Penn State is in the process of preparing for the 2023 season, and game times and broadcasts are being set as we get to the middle of May.

On Monday, the first announcement came down regarding Penn State’s 2023 White Out. The Nittany Lions will host Iowa for this season’s White Out, and that game will get a primetime broadcast on CBS.

The Nittany Lions also learned their kickoff time for the season opener against West Virginia. Penn State will kick off the season on Sept. 2 with a primetime kickoff at 7:30 pm ET on NBC. The Nittany Lions also opened the 2022 season in primetime against Purdue.

As for the rest of the home slate, Penn State announced the full game themes for the 2023 season. Homecoming will be against UMass on Oct. 14 while Nov. 11 against Michigan will be a Stripe Out.

  • Sept. 9 vs. Delaware — Spirit Day/THON
  • Sept. 23 vs. Iowa — White Out — 8 pm, CBS

  • Oct. 28 vs. Indiana — Military Appreciation
  • Nov. 11 vs. Michigan — Penn State Stripe Out
  • Nov. 18 vs. Rutgers — Senior Day/All-U Day
