Penn State and Syracuse have played 71 times with the Nittany Lions owning a 43-23-5 advantage. PSU has won the last five meetings in the head-to-head series, ranging from 1989 to 2013. The last victory for the Orange came in 1988 in Happy Valley.
With the addition of Syracuse to the 2027 slate, Penn State will round out its nonconference schedule for that year. The Nittany Lions are also scheduled to have home games against Delaware and Temple.
