Penn State announces plan to return to full capacity for 2021 football season
Penn State is the latest B1G school to announce plans for a full-capacity stadium for the upcoming football stadium.
On Tuesday, the school announced it is planning to allow all 107,000 fans back into Beaver Stadium for the 2021 football season. Most schools in the B1G have announced similar plans over the past month.
Last year, the B1G did not allow any general attendance for football games, or any sporting event, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Attendance was limited to the family of players, coaches and staff during the 2020 season.

Recently, the B1G lifted restrictions on fan attendance for the late part of the spring sports season. The conference allowed each school to determine attendance sizes based on the guidelines and recommendations from health and government officials.
Right now, it appears the B1G is on track to have full capacity stadiums for the 2021 football season.
