James Franklin’s staff is starting to come together.

Penn State announced the official hirings of running back coach Ja’Juan Seider and receivers coach David Corley Thursday. The school also announced Sean Spencer had been promoted from defensive line coach to associate head coach.

Seider spent last season working for Florida as the Gator running back coach. Prior to his year in Gainesville, Seider was the running backs coach and recruiting coordinator at West Virginia.

The school provided the following comment from Franklin regarding the hire of Seider:

“As soon as I met Ja’Juan, I knew that he would be a great fit for our staff. He comes highly recommended from a lot of people in the industry I respect. Ja’Juan has a quiet confidence and a natural charisma that will relate well to our running backs. His experience as a player and a coach will complement our offensive scheme. He is also widely regarded as one of nation’s top recruiters and his ties to this region will be beneficial. We are excited to have Ja’Juan and his family join this community.”
