Penn State basketball lands commitment from 4-star center prospect
Penn State might have identified its center of the future.
The Nittany Lions earned a commitment from 4-star center Kebba Njie on Saturday. He announced his decision on Twitter:
“This was a very tough decision and I’m really blessed to have great schools who wanted me to come to their program,” Njie wrote in-part. “But with that being said, I am excited to announce that I am committing to Penn State!”

Njie is a 4-star prospect in the class of 2022, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s ranked as the No. 107 overall player and the No. 17 center in this cycle.
He’s listed at 6-foot-8, 205 pounds. Njie attends La Lumiere High School in La Porte, Indiana.
Njie also has offers from Butler and Kansas State.
Penn State now has four commitments in the class of 2022. Njie is the highest-rated player, with the other three commitments being 3-star prospects according to 247Sports Composite rankings. Penn State’s class is currently ranked No. 18 nationally and No. 5 in the Big Ten.
