Penn State fans will have to wait a little longer to see if the Nittany Lions landed a 4-star basketball commitment.

Otega Oweh, a highly touted shooting guard prospect from New Jersey, was supposed to announce his decision Sept. 24. But due to a scheduling conflict, he’s moved his commitment to Oct. 1 at 5 p.m. ET. He’ll appear live on CBS Sports HQ to announce where he’ll commit.

Oweh has received interest from multiple B1G programs and has visited Illinois and Penn State. Penn State and Oklahoma have shown the most interest in him, according to 247sports, and 5 of 247sports’ analysts predict he’ll wind up in Happy Valley. It sure sounds like Micah Shrewsberry will add a big name to his 2022 recruiting class.

So hang tight, Nittany Lions fans. You’ll have to wait another week to see if Shrewsberry pulled a rabbit out of his hat.
