Mark your calendars, Penn State fans, the spring game date has been made official.

Monday, Penn State announced that the annual Blue-White Game will be held on Saturday, April 18. The Nittany Lions tend to set the date well in advance, and then confirm as spring practice nears.

Penn State confirmed the announcement with a social media post on Twitter:

The Nittany Lions are coming off an 11-2 season in 2019, their third 11-win campaign in four years. They capped the year off with an exciting 53-39 victory over Memphis in the Cotton Bowl.

Penn State returns plenty of skilled playmakers on offense, including quarterback Sean Clifford, wide receiver Jahan Dotson, tight end Pat Freiermuth and a bevy of running backs, led by Journey Brown, Noah Cain, Devyn Ford and Ricky Slade.

This spring, fans will also get their first glimpse of some of Penn State’s top recruits. Eleven members of Penn State’s 2020 recruiting class have already enrolled and should be participating in spring practice.

Penn State’s 2020 class currently ranks 14th nationally and No. 3 in the B1G, with one more signing day remaining.
