Penn State announced a new partnership with Fanatics this week, providing student-athletes with a special opportunity to cash in on name, image and likeness opportunities.
Friday, Penn State football announced the new exclusive partnership with Fanatics, an apparel company. Coming this upcoming fall, there will be player jerseys on sale, which include names on the back.
Below is the tweet Penn State released. It’s the latest in a growing list of unique NIL partnerships schools across the country have entered into with the new wave of college athletics.
Excited to be one of the exclusive programs bringing this partnership to our student-athletes & fans.

This new partnership will allow student-athletes to profit from jersey sales. Though, at Penn State, this came with one basic concern.
Will player names be on the back of the jersey during game day? Traditionally, the Nittany Lions are one of the few programs that do not put names on the back of the uniform.
Penn State confirmed it will stick with its tradition.
Can confirm.
