Penn State football landed in the top 5 for Class of 2024 Edge target Jaylen Harvey Monday evening.

Harvey hails from Gaithersburg, Maryland and stands at 6-2, 235 pounds. He holds several impressive offers, but whittled his list to Penn State, Maryland, Tennessee, Florida and USC on Monday.

Penn State is considered to be the heavy favorite for Harvey, who also announced that he intends to commit on July 4. He’s fresh off an official visit to Happy Valley on June 9 and holds 3 crystal balls to the Nittany Lions via 247Sports.

Harvey is considered to be the No. 349 overall prospect in the country, as well as the No. 25 edge rusher and No. 10 player from the state of Maryland.
