Penn State will lose some depth at defensive back heading into the regular-season finale at No. 12 Michigan State.

Tyler Rudolph, who arrived at Penn State as a four-star prospect from the Class of 2019, is reportedly entering the transfer portal.

The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Rudolph tallied 7 tackles during his career at Penn State. Rudolph also had offers out of high school from Clemson and Boston College amongst others.

Michigan State-Penn State is set for Nov. 27 (3:30 p.m./EST) and will be televised on ABC. Penn State most recently shut out Rutgers 28-0. The Nittany Lions have a 7-4 overall record and are in fourth place in the B1G East.

The all-time series is tied 17-17-1. Penn State is on a two-game winning streak in the series. Michigan State’s last victory vs. the Nittany Lions came in 2018.
