Penn State DB Jalen Kimber declares for 2025 NFL Draft
Penn State defensive back Jalen Kimber has officially declared for the 2025 NFL Draft.
The DB took to social media to officially announce his decision. Kimber penned a letter where he thanked his family, the staffs at Georgia, Florida, and Penn State, and all of the friends he made along the way.
“With all of that said, I am excited to announce I am officially declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft. I am ready to take the next step in my football career and look forward to the opportunities to come. We Are,” ended Kimber’s statement.

Kimber began his college career at Georgia. The DB played for the Bulldogs in 2020 and 2021 and collected 3 tackles in 4 games as a reserve. Kimber transferred to Florida for the 2022 season and played in 25 games over 2 years.
As a Gator, Kimber racked up 36 tackles, 1 interception, and 6 pass deflections. Then, ahead of the 2024 season, Kimber again transferred, this time ending up in Happy Valley.
In 1 season with the Nittany Lions, Kimber played in 16 games and collected 37 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and 3 pass deflections. The DB played a role in helping the Nittany Lions end their season as the No. 7 total defense in the nation. Kimber picked up 2 tackles in the Nittany Lions’ final game of the season against Notre Dame.
Before college, Kimber starred for Mansfield Timberview in Arlington, TX. The 247Sports Composite ranking had Kimber rated as a 4-star prospect, the No. 9 CB, and the No. 13 prospect out of Texas in the 2020 class.
Kimber originally chose Georgia over offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, and others.
