Toney has been one of Penn State’s best players on defense throughout his career and he’s off to a great start this season as well. So far this season, he has seven solo tackles (eight overall) with two sacks.
Last season was his best season to date as he had 13 solo tackles (40 overall) with 6.5 sacks and a fumble recovery.
Overall as a Nittany Lion, he currently has 43 solo tackles, 17.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles.
With a great showing at the Senior Bowl, his draft stock will only go up as he’s already projected to be one of the better defensive linemen in this class. It will be interesting to see where he lands in the 2021 NFL Draft to start his professional career.
