The atmosphere in Happy Valley for Saturday’s Top 25 matchup between No. 18 Penn State and No. 3 Ohio State is going to be a lot different. A game that would traditionally be a White Out will instead have plenty of empty seats.

Because the B1G is prohibiting fan attendance this year, there will be no White Out environment for Saturday night’s primetime showdown between the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes. But the folks in the PSU athletic department are doing the best they can within the guidelines.

Penn State will attempt to recreate a White Out environment using cardboard cutouts. The cutouts have been used at stadiums and sporting events across the country in 2020, and it will be no different in State College.

Since it would’ve been a White Out game, several of the cutouts have fans wearing their favorite white Penn State shirt. Below are some photos:

Kickoff between Penn State and Ohio State is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC. The Buckeyes have won three-straight meetings in the head-to-head series with the Lions last victory coming in 2016.

Ohio State defeated Nebraska 52-17 to enter the game 1-0. Penn State fell 36-35 to Indiana in overtime and is 0-1 on the year.
