Penn State fans unfortunately couldn’t watch P.J. Mustipher play much last season. The DT missed the majority of the 2021 season with a left knee injury, but he give some good news on Wednesday per Audrey Snyder of The Athletic.

Mustipher was asked about his injury recovery and where he’s at with it at B1G Media Days. He stated that he will be fully healthy when camp opens. He also confirmed what Franklin told the media, by saying that he passed his conditioning test.

He played in 6 games in 2021. In those 6 games he had 16 solo tackles, 5 assisted, 2 tackles for loss, and 1 sack. Hopefully, Penn State fans will get to see the numbers he puts up if he can remain healthy for a full season.

The Nittany Lions open the season with a road game against Purdue on Sept. 1 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
