Penn State edges out B1G competition for commitment from 4-star OT out of Wisconsin
Penn State picked up a big win on the recruiting trail to start the week, adding a 4-star commitment from an offensive line prospect out of Wisconsin.
The player is Garrett Sexton, a 4-star offensive tackle out of Arrowhead High School. The Nittany Lions beat out Minnesota, Iowa and Oklahoma from Sexton’s top 4 list to land his commitment.
“I would like to thank God, my family, friends, coaches, teammates, and everyone else who has put me in the position I’m in today and for helping me throughout this process,” wrote Sexton. “I’d also like to thank Coach Franklin and Coach Trautwein, along with the rest of the staff for giving me this opportunity. With that being said, I’m very excited to announce my commitment to Penn State to continue my academic and football career!”
