Penn State fans are furious over official's final call on 2-point conversion
Penn State found itself on the wrong end of a controversial call at the end of its 36-35 loss to Indiana.
The Hoosiers pulled off a wild upset after official ruled that Michael Penix’s 2-point conversion attempt crossed the plane before the ball touched out of bounds.

UNREAL ENDING IN BLOOMINGTON! 😲

Indiana needed a lot of help just to get to this position — including three missed field goals by the Nittany Lions and a mistake by running back Devyn Ford at the end of regulation.
Leading 21-20 with less than two minutes remaining, Ford scored a touchdown rather than running out the clock. That gave Indiana the chance to score again and, with a 2-point conversion, send the game to over time.
The rest is history.
As close as it was, Penn State fans weren’t satisfied with the officials’ decision to stay with the call on the field on the final 2-point conversion. Here’s just a small sampling of their reaction:
We got screwed … but we shouldn’t have been in a place we could get screwed

Seriously? Hats off to IU, especially with the effort by Penix on this play. But c’mon now pic.twitter.com/TJeQWFSHvT

That shit was clearly not in, any Indiana fan should know they shouldn’t have won this game. Maybe you can compete with us, but we aren’t a “top 10 team”, nor did we play like one.
All the one guy had to do was slide, all the kicker had to do was kick a FG one out of two times.

The pylon IS THE PLANE of the end zone. How does the ball touch the ground (OUT OF BOUNDS) and Then hit the pylon??? Replay is good for absolutely nothing. Shouldn't have been that close to begin with.

That was a terrible call cause you could see that the ball hit the ground, but it’s really their own fault that it even got to that point in the first place. Well fought game by Indiana

The ball was down out of bounds. Should’ve been called down. But a fitting ending to a lousy game.

ball hit the dirt before the pileon what a terrible call https://t.co/Pvb8FckTdT

Ball was out of bounds! Terrible call on the review. Cost Penn State the win.

The pylon is the goal line… and the ball hit the ground before hitting the pylon. Penn State got screwed
