Penn State fans are melting down after Nittany Lions’ 1st half performance vs. Maryland

It’s been a rough few weeks for Penn State fans, and it doesn’t look like things are going to be any better on Saturday.

The Nittany Lions fell behind Maryland 21-0 in the first half before they could even get on the board. Penn State did eventually score a touchdown, but the Terps responded with one of their own to make it 28-7 at the break.

Maryland receiver Rakim Jarrett was the primary source of Penn State’s struggles. He caught five passes for 144 yards and two long touchdowns.

For the second straight week, Taulia Tagovailoa has looked excellent for Maryland. He finished the half 14-of-19 for 246 yards and three touchdowns.

On the other side, PSU quarterback Sean Clifford has been abysmal. He’s 6-for-20 for 78 yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Penn State is in grave danger of falling to 0-3 on the season.
