Penn State fans aren't happy about the giant 'CFB 150' patch on the classic uniforms
Penn State is known for its classic uniform look. The sleek, simple white helmet with a single, blue stripe, a blue jersey and white pants has been a constant in college football. Even in the age of thousands of alternate uniforms, Penn State has stayed true to the classic look.
So, when that classic look is tampered with, people get upset. Even if it’s nothing more than a patch on the jersey.
Like every other college football team this season, Penn State will celebrate the 150th year of college football by wearing a “CFB 150” patch on the traditional jersey. Needless to say, fans were not happy.
Many of the complaints were about the patch being too big and gaudy. Others just hate the fact that the jersey has been altered in any way.
