Penn State landed a huge commitment from four-star receiver Jahan Dotson on Wednesday. His commitment adds to a class that was already impressive.

Dotson was previously committed to UCLA, but the Nittany Lions were able to work their way back into the conversation. Now, he’ll be sporting the blue and white uniform on Saturday afternoons.

Dotson is a Pennsylvania native who has raked in nearly 30 offers during his recruitment. He’s tabbed as the 35th-best wide receiver in 2018 and ranked as a top five player from Pennsylvania.

He also comes in at No. 185 nationally.

Dotson was previously committed to UCLA, making his announcement back in September. But as a coaching change was made in Los Angeles, the Nittany Lions began to creep back into the picture. Penn State became the overwhelming favorite to land the receiver, but the announcement was not official until Wednesday.

After Dotson’s commitment, Penn State now has the fourth-best recruiting class in the nation and second-best in the B1G, behind only Ohio State.
