A lot was made about the build-up for Penn State’s Week 3 SEC road trip to Auburn. With an “Orange Out” environment and raucous fans in Jordan-Hare Stadium, many wondered if the Nittany Lions would hold up under the pressure on the road.

In the end, it was Auburn that could not hold up under the pressure of the matchup. The Nittany Lions blew past the Tigers 41-12 to put Auburn coach Bryan Harsin squarely on the hot seat entering Week 4.

Following the huge win, the folks at “SEC Shorts” produced a hilarious segment of Penn State getting charged with murder for the win. The segment includes shots at Auburn’s decision to hire Harsin, mentions of Penn State’s true freshman star in RB Nicholas Singleton and jokes about a “poor man’s White Out” in Auburn.
Penn State is now off to a 3-0 start, and it’s a particularly impressive start considering the early-season schedule. The Nittany Lions already have 2 Power 5 road wins to open the season.

Through 3 games, Singleton is up to 334 yards and 4 touchdowns while averaging 11.1 yards per carry. While the Nittany Lions are still likely to rotate guys in the backfield, Singleton has shown he’s the dynamic playmaker the team has been searching for at running back.
