Penn State freshman Parker Washington breaks multiple tackles for big gain on opening drive
Parker Washington may be a freshman, but he is already playing like the latest in a string of elite playmaking receivers for the Nittany Lions.
Entering Saturday’s game against Michigan, Washington ranked third on the team in catches (21) and receiving yards (256) with the only players ahead of him being Pat Freiermuth and Jahan Dotson. Washington has also scored three touchdowns early in his Penn State career.
On the first drive of the game against the Wolverines, Washington came up with another big play. Sean Clifford found him on a short crossing route, but it was the run after the catch that made the play.
Washington broke multiple tackles and took the ball into Michigan territory for a big gain:

That is definitely a great start for a team that has been slow out of the gate multiple times this season.
