Penn State has become a better program since James Franklin has taken over.

It’s hard to deny that. Part of the reason for that is Franklin’s ability to recruit. And on Monday, Franklin got a win on the recruiting trail:

Zuriah Fisher, a 3-star recruit in the Class of 2020 according to 247Sports, is listed as a weak-side defensive end. According to Fisher’s Twitter account, he is a linebacker. Regardless, Fisher is rated as the No. 13 player in the state of Pennsylvania. Fisher is from Aliquippa, Penn.

With Fisher’s commitment, Penn State’s 2020 class now ranks No. 14 nationally and No. 3 in the Big Ten. Currently, the 6-foot-3, 240-pound prospect holds scholarship offers from Michigan State, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Texas A&M and others.
