Penn State is rocking throw-back uniforms for its matchup with UMass on Saturday, and the team gave a look at the details for the uniforms and the field design Friday afternoon.

The helmets swap the traditional all-white design for white helmets that feature players’ numbers, along with silver face masks rather the standard blue ones. The jerseys will switch the regular numbers for more retro-inspired ones. The team didn’t miss any details, even adding a blue stripe on the pants.

But the throw-back details don’t stop at the uniforms.

The field is getting a redesign for Saturday’s game, with the endzones swapping out the standard “Penn State” for the school’s original endzone design.

The team went all out for Saturday’s game and gave fans just one more thing to look forward to.

Jerseys and field design aside, Penn State will be looking for another win as it continues to make its case for the College Football Playoff. The Nittany Lions shouldn’t have any trouble against UMass, but next week they’ll get their biggest test of the season so far against Ohio State.
