A member of Penn State’s basketball team is entering the NCAA transfer portal.

247Sports is reporting that guard Kyle McCloskey has entered his name in the transfer portal after two seasons with the Nittany Lions. He initially joined the team as a walk-on ahead of the 2018-19 season after playing college football at Villanova.

McCloskey was awarded a scholarship by head coach Pat Chambers prior to the start of the season.

In 2018-19 season, McCloskey played 82 minutes on the season and played just 27 minutes this past year. He scored 16 points during his Penn State career, grabbed 13 rebounds, dished four assists, and registered two blocks and two steals.

Penn State finished this past season with a 21-10 record with an 11-9 mark in B1G games. The Nittany Lions were also 14-3 at home.
