Week 8 of the 2021 College Football season is set for a big week as several high school players travel to the school campus and attend the games for schools of interest.

One high school recruit is making his decision early Saturday morning as junior tight end Joey Schlaffer from Exeter Township High School from Reading, Pennsylvania. Schlaffer is making his commitment to Penn State.

According to 247Sports Composite, Schlaffer is ranked as a 3-star player as well as rated as the No. 347 player in the 2023 recruiting class. He is also rated as the No. 22 tight end and the No. 11 player from the state in the 2023 cycle.

Schlaffer currently has 16 offers from collegiate programs including Arizona State, Cincinnati, Maryland, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, and Tennessee.

It’s a great way to start Homecoming for James Franklin and company.
