Following the win over Northwestern on Saturday, Penn State announced its players of the game for Week 5 on Twitter on Tuesday.

Offensive lineman Sal Wormley was one of the offensive players of the week after helping prevent any sacks against Penn State on Saturday.

Ji’Ayir Brown was one of the defensive players of the week after the safety picked up 5 total tackles and a tackle for loss. P.J. Mustipher joined him as a player of the week after recording 8 total tackles on the game.

Brenton Strange was one of the offensive players of the week after he had a big 20-yard touchdown catch that ended up being crucial for Penn State.

Barney Amor was the special teams player of the week after he recorded 5 punts for a whopping 200 yards with 4 inside the 20.

Penn State has a bye week this week, giving the Nittany Lions a rest after an undefeated start. After that, they will take on No. 4 Michigan.
