The 6-foot-10, 220-pound Goodman is the No. 13 recruit from the state of California in the 2024 cycle. He’s ranked as the No. 17 player in his position and the No. 109 overall prospect in the country, according to the industry-generated 247 composite.
Goodman is the highest rated recruit in the class so far and becomes the 3rd player to commit to Mike Rhoades’ team in the 2024 class. His pledge brings Penn State up to the No. 45 ranked class in the country, and No. 9 in the Big Ten.
Last season as a junior, Goodman played at O’Dea High School in Seattle, Washington. The big man played in 30 games averaging 21.2 minutes per game while also contributing 8.6 points per game, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks.
