Penn State has known it would be a participant in the Emerald Coast Classic during the upcoming basketball season, but the opponents were still a mystery. Now, the Nittany Lions have the answers.
On Tuesday, Penn State’s basketball program tweeted out the opponents for the event, starting Thursday, Nov. 18 in State College before making the trip down to Niceville, Florida a week later.
Matchups are set for some Thanksgiving weekend basketball on the beach 😎

Penn State will open with St. Francis Brooklyn in a first-round home game. The Nittany Lions will then make the trip down to Niceville to play LSU in the semifinal round of the event on Nov. 26. In the championship round, Penn State will play either Oregon State or Wake Forest on Nov. 27.
The Emerald Coast Classic, which is Thanksgiving weekend, will be played at Raider Arena, on the campus of Northwest Florida State College.
