Penn State hoops to be without leading scorer Sunday vs. Ohio State
Penn State’s basketball team will be shorthanded Sunday against No. 16 Ohio State.
Sunday morning, Penn State announced that leading scorer Seth Lundy will miss the game against the Buckeyes. No reason was provided for the forward’s absence from the weekend contest, which is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET.
Lundy is averaging 14.1 points per game this season to lead the Nittany Lions. He’s also averaging 5.9 rebounds and 1 assist per contest. He’s shooting over 41% from the floor.

Lundy has scored in double figures in all but two games this season. He’s scored a season-high 23 points three times this season. Penn State won all three contests when Lundy hit that total, defeating Youngstown State, Cornell and Northwestern.
Penn State has won 3 of its last 4 games, including a 66-49 victory over Rutgers on Tuesday. Ohio State enters the game having lost to Wisconsin 78-68 on Thursday.
