Penn State is working on putting together the 2024 recruiting class. On Saturday, the Nittany Lions added another piece to the puzzle.

The player is Luke Reynolds, an intriguing offensive prospect out of Cheshire Academy in Connecticut. Reynolds is rated as a tight end for the next level but has made plays out of the quarterback position.

Listed at 6-foot-4.5 and 220 pounds, Reynolds has not been rated by the composite rankings but is listed as a 3-star TE by 247 Sports. The publication also has Reynolds as the 45th TE in the country for the class of 2024.

While Reynolds is unlikely to see any playing time at QB for Penn State, he certainly has an athletic skill set as evidenced by his Hudl highlights. He also held Power 5 offers from Boston College, Wake Forest, Virginia, Vanderbilt, Syracuse, Stanford, Pitt, Louisville, Kentucky and Duke.

Reynolds is the 5th commitment for Penn State so far in the cycle, a group that ranks 22nd nationally by the 247 Sports Team Composite Rankings.
