Penn State lands in impressive group for 4-star LB out of Virginia

Penn State is in the running for Class of 2024 linebacker Chris Cole, he announced Sunday.
Cole hails from Salem, Virginia and is rated as a 4-star prospect by 247Sports. His recruitment is hotly contested, but the Nittany Lions were one of several impressive programs to crack his top 8.
In addition to the Nittany Lions, USC, Notre Dame, Miami, Virgnia Tech, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama made the list.

Cole is considered to be the No. 64 overall prospect in the nation, as well as the No. 6 LB and No. 1 player out of the state of Virgina, per 247Sports. He also runs track and field and officially visited happy Valley on June 3.
