Penn State lands in-state commitment from 2023 Edge prospect out of Philadelphia
Penn State continues to add to an elite recruiting class for the 2023 cycle, landing another in-state prospect on Friday.
This time, it is Edge prospect Jameial Lyons out of Philadelphia. Lyons had previously set a timeline for an August commitment but wound up speeding up the process to commit to the Nittany Lions.
“I’d like to thank all the coaches that spent the time recruiting me,” wrote Lyons on Twitter. “I’d also like to thank all my coaches that have helped me get to this point, and most importantly I want to thank my mother for all of her hard work and support.
“With that being said, I’m happy to announce I’m staying home and committing to Penn State University!”
