Dom DeLuca joined Penn State as a walk-on. Now, he’s a key member of the Nittany Lions’ defense.

He had a huge pick-6 in Penn State’s Week 2 matchup against Delaware Saturday to give the Nittany Lions an even bigger lead.

After perfectly anticipating the pass, DeLuca came down with an interception and carved through Delaware’s offense to score and give Penn State a 56-7 lead late in the third quarter.

DeLuca has one of the best stories in college football. After joining Penn State a walk-on, he became a team captain this season and has made a name for himself on Penn State’s roster.

He’s helped Penn State hold Delaware’s offense to just 58 passing yards so far in the game. The Nittany Lions will certainly be counting on his presence this season.
