Penn State’s special teams will be returning a seasoned veteran in 2022.

On Tuesday, long snapper Chris Stoll announced on Twitter that he’d be returning to the Nittany Lions next season. It’s a great boost for a special teams unit that enjoyed plenty of success during the year.

“To my teammates, I am looking forward to getting to work with you guys,” Stoll wrote. “All of our hard work this coming offseason will pay off tremendously. I couldn’t be more excited to do it with a group of guys who love the game and all that comes with it.”

Stoll has appeared in 35 career games at long snapper for the Nittany Lions. He has played in every game since the 2019 campaign, providing Penn State with stability at the position.

Penn State finished the 2021 season with a 7-6 record.
