Penn State is in the final group for one of the top defensive linemen in the class of 2023.

Derrick LeBlanc, out of Osceola (Kissimmee, Florida) has the Nittany Lions in his final 3 heading into a July 28 commitment announcement, he revealed Monday. Florida and Oklahoma are the other finalists.

Listed at 6-4, 270 pounds, LeBlanc is rated 4-stars, the No. 7 defensive lineman, No. 16 Sunshine State product and No. 76 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite.

During his recruitment, LeBlanc picked up scholarship offers from 42 schools, including Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State. Earlier this month, LeBlanc made it up to Penn State to visit James Franklin’s program.
