Penn State is in the top-6 for 4-star receiver Rico Scott.

Scott announced his final 6 programs on Thursday morning. The Pennsylvania native is also considering Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Colorado and Texas A&M.

Scott attends Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He’s listed at 6-foot, 185 pounds.

He would be a major addition for Penn State’s recruiting class. He currently ranks as the No. 390 overall player and the No. 55 wide receiver in the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Scott also ranks as the No. 12 overall player and the No. 2 receiver from the state of Pennsylvania in this cycle.

Scott’s recruitment has been heating up in recent weeks. His offers from Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee all came within the last few weeks. Penn State originally offered Scott back in February of 2022.

Penn State currently has 4 commitments in the class of 2024. The group ranks No. 22 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
