Penn State easily defeated Purdue in Week 12, winning by a score of 49-10. With the win, the Nittany Lions improved to 9-1 overall and 6-1 in B1G play.

It was an impressive performance on both sides of the ball for the Nittany Lions. The offense racked up 539 total yards and didn’t commit any turnovers. The defense, meanwhile, held the Boilermakers to 302 total yards and racked up 9 tackles for loss.

On Sunday, the Nittany Lions revealed 4 players of the game. Drew Allar and Tyler Warren received the honors on offense, while Abdul Carter and Zion Tracy received the honors on defense and special teams, respectively.

Allar completed 17 of 19 passes for 247 yards and 3 TDs while also rushing 4 times for 22 yards and didn’t turn the ball over. The QB now has 2,253 yards with 16 TDs and 5 INTs in 2024.

Meanwhile, Warren led the team in rushing and receiving yards. The talented tight end rushed 3 times for 63 yards and 1 TD and also caught 8 passes for 127 yards and 1 TD. Warren now has 67 catches for 808 yards and 5 TDs in 2024.

On defense, Carter led the Nittany Lions in tackles with 5. The talented defender also added 2 tackles for loss while living in the Boilermakers’ backfield.

Finally, Tracy racked up 4 tackles on special teams. The versatile Tracy also returned 3 punts for 21 yards in Week 12.

The Nittany Lions took care of business and will now end the regular season with games against Minnesota and Maryland.
