Penn State parking already filling up ahead of Ohio State game
Fans headed to Beaver Stadium on Saturday for the top 10 clash between Ohio State and Penn State may want to bring their walking shoes. Parking spots are already filling up, and we’re still more than 24 hours from kickoff.
Josh Moyer of the Centre Daily Times reported on Friday that a few parking garages around campus are already full and others are reaching capacity. Kickoff between the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
The Fraser and Beaver downtown parking garages are already completely full, and the Pugh garage currently has 15 spots left.
Good luck finding any metered parking downtown.

Finding a parking spot is not an uncommon occurrence on college game day’s especially on campuses with stadiums that seat over 100,000 fans. But Penn State’s situation could be even crazier if spots are filling up a full day before the game.
The parking situation goes hand-in-hand with the high anticipation and excitement this weekend. Penn State students have been camping outside Beaver Stadium since early this week. And College GameDay will be on campus this weekend, drawing even more interest.
It might be a wise decision to leave an extra hour or two early for Saturday night to ensure you don’t miss opening kickoff.
